A group of Jackson-based rappers collaborated on a joint album titled “Thanksgiving” with tracks themed around the family-focused holiday.
Under the moniker Shuniiadaballer, Shuniaa Wrenn of Clarksdale, Miss., has garnered millions of views on her freestyle-rap videos and will soon debut an album.
“As migration from African, Caribbean and Middle Eastern countries to Europe continues to increase and European societies discuss questions of identity belonging, it’s my belief that hip-hop will continue to make significant contributions to ongoing public policy debates,” Armin Langer writes.
