Students from several historically Black colleges and universities in Mississippi participated in the “HBCU Get Out the Vote Tour.”
Whitney Perkins has held her role as graduate program director for Jackson State University’s Department of Communicative Disorders since 2022.
“The Supreme Court’s decision against affirmative action will significantly impact college students in the United States for years to come,” Dr. Arianna C. Stokes writes. “The impact can be viewed through the lens of three key areas: college choice, professional school acceptance and career trajectory.”
Dr. Arianna C. Stokes worked diligently to earn her Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University in 2020. Now, she’s positioned to help others navigate their own journey with 5 key steps to help them across the doctoral finish line.
