The SWAC has suspended Jackson State football coach Rick Comegy for this weekend’s game at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Comegy was so upset with the officials after last week’s loss at Alabama State that he dropped four f-bombs during a postgame interview that was broadcast live on the JSU radio network and JSU’s TV station. You can watch it here. Four f-bombs in 14 seconds: Is that a record?

Comegy was also fined $1,000 by the SWAC and reprimanded by JSU.

Comegy said he won’t appeal the suspension.

Dr. S it’s about time you did a article on JSU, what you been waiting on. Oh I see you finally got something that fits your critiria of putting JSU in the news somethng negative. Do you work in the channel 12 newsroom also because I see the same pattern. We do have a quarterback who leads the fcs in passing and have been for the Weeks. I guess JSU only gets coverage when it’s something negative a lot like the city of Jackson. The fickle fans of JSU as you call us backs coach comegy.
