The Mississippi Supreme Court has set execution dates for Death Row inmates Larry Mathew Puckett, MDOC #65781, and William J. Mitchell, MDOC #31271.

Puckett is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at 6:00 p.m. on March 20, 2012 at the Mississippi State Penitentiary in Parchman, Miss. Puckett, 35, was convicted in Forrest County in 1996 for the 1995 murder and sexual assault of his former employer’s wife, Rhonda Griffis of Petal.

Mitchell is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at 6:00 p.m. on March 22, 2012 at the Mississippi State Penitentiary in Parchman, Miss. Mitchell, 61, was sentenced in Harrison County in 1998 for the 1995 murder of Patty Milliken. At the time of the murder, Mitchell was on parole from a life sentence for a 1975 murder.
