The third in a series of discussions on the late Mississippi author Willie Morris, “Willie As A Mentor” features writer Steve Yarbrough, one of Morris’ former students at the University of Mississippi. Yarbrough currently lives in Fresno, Calif., where he is a professor, and has written several books about the Mississippi Delta including “The Oxygen Man.” Yarbrough will discuss his experiences with Morris as a professor and mentor, as well as a fellow writer. If you haven’t been to the tucked-away Willie Morris Library, this is also a great opportunity to see it.
