Let’s talk about whether public schools should be allowed to teach about the Islamic faith in the public schools, including using Islamic prayer in role-playing exercises. If you do not believe that this should be allowed, as in the outcry in California, how can public schools allow Christian prayers on the loudspeaker? What are the distinctions? religious philosophy is a subject which should be taught in school. but if a religious philosophy is defined as one which relates mankind to the powers and principles of the universe, the course would be rather short.


One problem would be to decide which of the many schools and branches of Shiite and Suni Islam to include in the curicculum.
