An impromptu high-school reunion in Lincoln County, Mississippi, in 1999 blossomed into an annual music festival called Brookstock that features performances from multiple local garage-band-style music groups. In recent years, a portion of the festival’s proceeds go toward The Doll’s House, a transitional women’s home in Brookhaven.
