Mo’tel Williams, Brotha Hustle, Qweem-O-Wheat and Grandpa Pookie introduce the “Po’ People’s Diet”—a nutrition and lifestyle alternative for the financially challenged.

Mo’tel Williams: “If you spent your FEMA money to attend the Earth, Wind and Fire vs. Parliament Funkadelic Disco, and on Dom Perignon champagne and other alcoholic beverages during a ‘Girls Gone Buckey Naked Wild’ after-party at a plush hotel in the Caribbean, shame on you. And if you spent all your disaster assistance money at Wal-Mart, shame on you again!”

Brotha Hustle: “Have you depleted your emergency assistance money, and are forced to pay bills with grocery money?”

Grandpa Pookie: “You need to go on the Po’ People’s Diet!”

Qweem-O-Wheat: “I teach folk how to stretch their supply of breakfast foods—from corn flakes to Qweem-O-Wheat—with the Family Breakfast Economics class.”

Brotha Hustle: “In my Working Poor Lunchtime and Snack class, I suggest the perfect midday meal that lasts until dinnertime: powdered Juicy-Juice (mixed with bottled water) and two packs of cheese crackers with peanut butter.”

Grandpa Pookie: “I instruct financially challenged individuals to make their Sunday meals last for three days with the Leftovers, Leftovers Again—One Mo’ Time class.”

Mo’tel Williams: “The ‘Po’ People’s Diet’ program also comes with a complimentary instruction booklet to guide you through your self-imposed, temporary nutrition and lifestyle change.”

Look for a compilation of the “Stiggers” columns in a book form. The book will be titled “500 Words or Less.” I’ve set a goal for the book to be published late fall.

YAY! Can’t wait for the signing 🙂
