The late Eudora Welty influenced many artists through her life and literary works. It’s no surprise then that as her 100th birthday approaches, so many want to express their gratitude to the great author and lover of the arts. Four talented singer-songwriters will do just that April 17 as they pay tribute to Welty in a concert at the Belhaven Center for the Arts. Claire Holley, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kate Campbell and Caroline Herring each employ a unique voice—both literally and literary—in their songs. They are expressive, tender, strong lyricists, and they all cite Welty as an influence. Visit http://www.ticketmaster.com
