I am strongly in support of the free press and independent media. The “Jackson Free Press” is providing a great venue for public opinion, creative expression, as well as events and small business promotion. It is a deplorable event in journalism when a huge media out-let such as the Clarion-Ledger attempts to put a stopper on freedom of the press and expression — first amendment rights… rights that are in fact excercised by the Clarion-Ledger itself on a daily basis.
