WAPT is reporting that the Jackson Police Officer Association is complaining to the City Council about the mayorโ€™s disruptions in the department, and blaming his interference for low morale among the police force, which is contributing to a severe police shortage:

The association also said thereโ€™s a severe officer shortage, citing as an example Precinct 4, where there used to be 70 officers. Just 45 officers work in the precinct now. Members also want Melton to stop interfering, saying he contaminates crime scenes and complaining that JPD has become the laughing stock in the law enforcement community because of his interference.

They blamed the mayorโ€™s favoritism toward his bodyguards as a reason for low morale among the rank-and-file.

So he is back to talking his game about being trained as an office in TX.But Melton wasn’t there to hear their critique. He left council chambers when the union leaders spoke. “To me, that just shows that he doesn’t care,” Domino said after the meeting ended. Reached after the meeting, Melton said he agrees that police need higher pay and more training, but he said police representatives were absolutely incorrect when they said he interferes with crime scenes. “People will talk to me when they will not talk to them,” Melton said. “I will be on the scene any time that I feel like I need to be on the scene.” He also took issue with the union leaders saying he had no police training. “I went through that in Texas when they were in diapers,” Melton said. He said he’d work with police any way he could to improve its performance in the community but said the union leadership is trying to make changes the wrong way. “I think that’s a waste of their time because the council doesn’t make the final decision. I do,” Melton said. The man is farking insane! Everybody now…. SafeCity Rulz!

Melton is telling the same old lie again. He says that he was trained in Texas as a law enforcement officer. That is complete and total bull sh**. I know people that have tried to get a copy of his Texas certification and they were told by Texas Officials that there is no record of Frank Melton completing any law enforcement training in Texas. If Frank was trained in Texas then he should no that 1) you don’t show up on crimes scenes drunk as a skunk, 2) you don’t enter a taped off crime scene if you have nothing to do with the investigation ( Frank you have nothing to offer the investigation so don’t say that you do)!!! Frank you are a hypocrite and a compulsive liar. Someone needs to tell Frank that because he may of went through a week long Citizens on Patrol class in Texas it doesn’t make him qualified as a police officer. When Melton left the city council meeting yesterday as the officers went to speak he showed the people of Jackson and the police officers of Jackson that he doesn’t care about anything except what he wants. He has little man syndrome and he needs to be taken out of office. I pray for the day that the federal indictments come down on him and his little self servant a** gets convicted of a felony. Even if he doesn’t spend a day in jail he has to resign from office. That will be the best day the City of Jackson has seen in a long time!!!!!!

IF he was certified as he claims, he would have to have at least one record of firearms qualification per year since 1972. State law mandates that you go through continuing education with all facets of the job, not just with guns…everthing from laws to procedures at crime scenes, just so much. little frankie has none of this.

“If you’re innately, instinctly and mentally, in your mind, a superior police officer why do you need training to enhance what you already know you have?” The late J. Edgar Hoover.

I’ve got a job for Melton once he’s out of office. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Why is Melton still Mayor? Any word on federal indictments yet? I keep hearing rumors. I ask again, where is the groundswell, the energy and the political power from the leadership of this city to “take care of business” and get Melton to resign? Lord knows, I don’t want to wish trouble on anyone, including Frank. But, please, Frank, do the right thing and quit!

I’ve got a job for Melton once he’s out of office. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Pike, how in the world do you find these videos?????
