During a 5-minute interview with NPRโ€™s Renee Montagne this morning, Juan Williams alludes to the Jackson Free Pressโ€™ award-winning investigation leading up to James Ford Sealeโ€™s conviction last June. The U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned Sealeโ€™s conviction on federal kidnapping charges on Sept. 9, citing that the statute of limitations had already run out.

I am not a big fan of Juan at all but he provided fair (logical) reporting in this case.


Ha, I’m not wild about Juan myself, but I do have to say – about damn time, and thank you, Juan. Even a broken clock is right a couple of times a day. This whole thing has been, shall we say, instructional and educational. I hope the feds can come up with a good reply to the appeal, it makes me feel a bit ill to know that Seale may be getting out.
