Barefoot Beats
• April 18, 3 p.m.-11 p.m.
• Downtown Clinton
• Free

As if you didn’t have enough festival options for April 18, here’s one more: Barefoot Beats. Benefitting Habitat for Humanity, this is the festival’s first year, and it promises to be a good time. The musical lineup includes The Colonels (voted Best Country Artist of 2009 by Jackson Free Press readers), DJ 360, Johnny and the Appleseeds, Caroline Crawford, Home Spun and others. Each vendor booth will have donation cans for HFH, and the day will include an auction of items donated by local businesses. The downtown Clinton brick street area is nostalgic and delightful—the perfect setting to enjoy a warm, musical April day. Visit http://barefootbeats.wordpress.com.
