When CondeNast shut down Domino magazine, I mourned for a while. Then I found solace in the joys of cooking magazines. Gourmet magazine was one of them, and its editor-in-chief, the talented wordsmith Ruth Reichl, becomes more accessible when she makes a stop in Greenwood as part of her book tour. The best-selling author is a fixture in both the foodie and journalism fields (before Gourmet, she was a New York Times food critic), and her new book “Not Becoming My Mother” promises to be a good read. Reichl will sign copies of her book, then read excerpts.
