Virginia Sciolino, originally from Hattiesburg, Miss., is a 2021 graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., where she studied Religion with a special focus on the civil rights movement, anti-abortion activism and American Catholic histories. She has spent over 10 years competing in public speaking and speechwriting events, including three years as a captain on Wesleyan’s mock trial team. Sciolino is passionate about equity and grassroots strategies for social change.
