As a senior fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a former undersecretary of state, I oversaw many of the student exchange programs involving multiple countries around the globe. I foresee a major economic crisis over international students that could last years.

She served as the executive vice president of the United States Institute of Peace and taught public diplomacy at The Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University and served as the school’s Senior Career Advisor.
