Shaye Smith is the Chief of Staff of the Mississippi Free Press and assistant producer of MFP Live. A native of Soso, Mississippi, she now lives in Clinton with her husband, where they are enjoying life as empty nesters, surrounded by what sometimes seems like entirely too many animals.
