Rex Wilgus writes about being a foster parent and starting the Buddy Bag Program, which provides suitcases for foster children.

Rex Wilgus sold his first short story to The Horror Show Magazine at the age of seventeen and has been writing ever since. An award-winning movie was based on his first novel, Mindfulness and Murder, and he was nominated for a Lambda Award for Bilal’s Bread. He is the former news editor for the Monroe Journal in Amory and currently works for former state representative, Steve Holland, as a funeral director and digital media director for Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo. He lives with one of his sons and a rescued stray, Boggs, who is the most Buddhist dog ever and has never once barked at anyone or anything.
