Leslie McLemore II, a Jackson native, is now in Atlanta, GA. He is a graduate of Jackson State University, North Carolina Central University School of Law and American University Washington College of Law. Leslie's passion allows him to express himself through words. Many of his writings have been featured in numerous publications, including Black With No Chaser, Jackson Free Press, Mississippi Free Press, Blavity, and The Offing. Some of his writings and social media posts have gone viral through the years, which has led to him being featured on podcasts and interviews. Leslie's writings are oftentimes satirical, where he tries to find the "funny" on topics such as current events, politics, fatherhood, sports, and civil rights. Leslie is married to Jacinta McLemore, who he shares two beautiful and highly intelligent girls with, Harper and Harlow. While Harper and Harlow are only 8 and 4 years old, they both have already left their mark on this earth as being sweet, while also telling you how they really feel. Surrounded by three amazingly head strong women who he can't tell anything to, Leslie asks that you pray for him; Or send positive thoughts; Or something.
