Jeffrey L. Littlejohn and Zachary Montz
Jeffrey L. Littlejohn serves as Professor of History at Sam Houston State University (SHSU). A native of Dallas, Texas, he completed his undergraduate degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and his MA and PhD at the University of Arkansas. Littlejohn is also an active digital/public historian. His website Lynching in Texas (http://www.lynchingintexas.org) has been called "required reading" by the Austin American Statesman. He also leads projects on East Texas History and Public History in Mexico. Dr. Montz received his doctorate in history from the University of Texas in 2013. His research interests include:
-Organized Labor and Working Class History
-Civil Rights and African American History
-Constitutional and Labor Law
-Texas History
He is a lecturer in the Department of History at Sam Houston State University.
