Eric Hengyu Hu

Eric Hengyu Hu, PhD, is a Research Scientist working for Institute for Social and Health Equity (ISHE) at the University at Albany. He holds a doctoral degree in Educational Policy Studies from Penn State University with a minor in demography. Dr. Hu’s research focuses on sociodemographic disparities in the academic, cognitive and social-behavioral development of early elementary school students, particularly English learners and students with disabilities. He supports various research projects and specializes in advanced quantitative methods to analyze large secondary datasets, ensuring rigorous research outcomes.
