Emily Midkiff
Dr. Emily Midkiff is an instructor of children's literature at the University of North Dakota. Before getting degrees in children’s literature and literacy education, Midkiff spent 9 years working in children’s theater, and now does research on books with attention to what children have to say. Her most recent publication is "Equipping Space Cadets: Primary Science Fiction for Young Children," a book-length study of science fiction for children.
