Elizabeth Gibbons is an English teacher at Clarksdale High School. She teaches English II, AP English Language, and AP Literature. She serves as student council sponsor and senior sponsor. She was a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Policy Fellow and a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Delta Change Agent. As a Change Agent, she focused on increasing student engagement through College and Career Readiness exploration. She was recognized as a STAR Teacher in 2025. She lives with her husband, Steven, and loves to read, do puzzles, and watch true crime documentaries.
