DeeDee Baldwin is associate professor and engagement librarian at Mississippi State University. A past president of the Society of Mississippi Archivists, she is also on the board of directors for the Mississippi Historical Society. Her research project, Against All Odds, is centered on the 162 Black men who served as legislators during Reconstruction in Mississippi from 1870-1894.
