Dawne Moon
Dawne Moon is Professor in Social and Cultural Sciences and Co-Director of Gender & Sexualities Studies at Marquette University. She is the author of "God, Sex, and Politics: Homosexuality and Everyday Theologies" (U. Chicago Press, 2004) and has published in such journals as the American Journal of Sociology, Theory and Society, Gender and Society, Hypatia, and the Annual Review of Sociology. Moon's research has been funded by the Templeton Religion Trust, the Louisville Institute, the Association for the Sociology of Religion, The Institute for Citizens and Scholars (formerly the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation), and the Social Science Research Council. She is currently working with philosopher Theresa Tobin on a 10-year study of the evangelical LGBTQ+ movement.
