Prior to becoming Executive Director of the International Ombudsman Association, Chuck Howard was a Partner and the General Counsel of Shipman & Goodwin LLP in Hartford, Conn., where he represented organizational ombuds programs around the country for almost 30 years. He is the author of The Organizational Ombudsman: Origins, Roles, and Operations—A Legal Guide, published by the American Bar Association in 2010.
