Chris Danielson is a professional historian with a Ph.D. in American history from the University of Mississippi. A native of Houston, Texas, he has also served as a Fulbright Teaching Scholar at the University of Pecs in Hungary. He has published three books on civil rights and race relations, most recently Brother Outsider, Brother Insider, a biography of Lawrence Guyot, the head of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party.
