As soon as you walk through the glass doors leading into Fischer Gallery, Mathew Puckett’s haunting, intense self-portrait greets you. Continue your walk along the wall, and you’ll find figurative and nude pieces by some of Jackson’s most cherished artists. Photographer Josh Hailey has created stunning shots of models covered in vibrant body paint. Ginger Williams’ nudes are simple, yet delicately beautiful, and Baxter Knowlton’s paintings of a woman are sultry, and refreshingly organic. I salivate over these amazing pieces, and wish I could take each one home.
