“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6 KJV
I am really sad about the things that are going on in the world today. So many wars, so many heartaches and so much pain. People are living in terrible conditions. They are hungry. They are scared. Families are being separated for no reason. People are being killed and so much terror lives in this world today. It is a living nightmare. So how do you find peace and love in a world that is so wicked and evil?
We find faith, love and rest in a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is time for all of us to turn back to the Holy Bible. It is time for everyone to turn back to Jesus Christ before it is too late. It took me a long time to realize this hard truth. I had to face my sins and turn back to Jesus and repent. I had to get on my bed of affliction to come to this realization, and Jesus was there calming my mind and showing me how to relax through all my stress.
The world is full of wars, famine, pestilence and hate, but I still pray for the people of this world. From those in high places, I pray, for those who are in diverse places I pray, and for everyone who is forgotten I pray. Why do I pray? Because turning to Jesus is the only way to make it through these tough times. Then after I come to him with my supplications and petitions, I leave it with Jesus. I have learned to practice this through my study of scripture, and because of the culmination of my sins, I repent. I have learned that God does not want anyone to perish. He wants us all to come to him and be saved from his wrath on judgement day.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV
The main purpose of life is to live for God by fearing him and keeping his commandments. The things on this Earth are temporary and we cannot take any of these things with us. Not money, not cell phones, not streaming devices, not designer clothes, not gold, not silver—but our souls will be judged and we have to be ready. Faith in these times of turmoil teaches a lesson and should get our attention. It certainly helped me to wake up. Wake up to the lies being told that we can beat time and overcome aging, but our bodies deteriorate as we get older. As I get older in mind and body and spirit, I have realized that all these things I have worried about all these years do not mean anything. My soul needs to be saved.

Being strong, having courage as darkness approaches and the end of the world is near is what is important. Asking Jesus to hold my hand through the end and loving him until the end and praying to him is what matters. I have to forgive to make it to heaven, I have to know that Jesus loves me, and I have to believe in him to make it to heaven. The main thing is to remain faithful to Jesus and keep my relationship with Jesus intact. Doing this without wavering and without changing my mind, because Jesus is lord and he is the only way to make it to the Father.
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewardeth of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11: 6 KJV
The world is full of trouble. The world is full of people who use you. The world is full of evil things, and it is important to be careful, cautious and ask God for discernment so you can make the right decisions. The Holy Bible has guided me since I started doing what God says to do. I make mistakes but knowing I can repent and change helps me. I think it is a misconception that you change instantaneously. It depends on the sincerity of your heart and prayers to God. I was changed on my bed of affliction at the doctor’s office, and as I prayed, recited scriptures to myself to calm down, and looked up from the bed toward heaven, I knew it was time for me to really change and surrender my everything to God. Sometimes you think you have surrendered to God, but it is more flesh and more thoughts and ideas of surrendering than doing it with your heart. Jesus showed me this when I went to the emergency room. I learned that I cannot continue to play with Jesus, but continue to strengthen my faith in Jesus and respect him.
“Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14
I have spent my life chasing the wind. School, romantic relationships, a career, but all these things are vanity, just like the preacher in Ecclesiastes says. The Earth and the things in it are temporary. What matters are our faith, our love, our hope, and how we love, obey and believe in Jesus. This is the only way to make it through tough times by giving your life to Jesus. We have to believe that Jesus is the son of God, repent of our sins, be baptized and be faithful to God until death. It is important to know who you serve—God or the devil. It is important to know what you want to do with your life—gain validation from God or the glory from men? It is your choice but know that every choice has a consequence. Remember who you are as a Christian or a believer who has not yet obeyed the gospel, that the word of God and Jesus’s laws are truth. The question is: Do you believe him?
