The Mississippi Free Press’ 2024 Youth Media Project collected numerous awards during Report for America awards ceremonies in April and May. The Youth Media Project brings metro-area high-school students to the MFP newsroom for six weeks each summer where they learn journalism, photography and videography skills while producing print and multimedia stories.
