Kay Tyler and her husband Paul opened the Cart Barn Inn in Bruce, Miss., in 2007. Tyler’s philosophy was “Luxury and elegance wrapped in a brown paper bag,” deliberately leaving the inn’s exterior unchanged from its origins as a golf cart storage barn but with luxurious rooms on the inside.
