In JxnPro’s ongoing mission to get the citizens of Jackson more involved in the political process, we will begin adding a special element to our Wednesday Lunches at Peaches. “Soul Food Forums” will be a vehicle in which voters can get intimate face time with local candidates. Whether they be mayoral or city council candidates beginning January 14th, you will have the chance to personally ask them questions AND enjoy some of the best soul food in the south. If you are a candidate and wish to come by please contact us at [e-mail missing].

We’ll let ya know whose up each week real soon. And if you guys have any ideas or questions please get at us. And Remember JxnPro is sponsoring two huge debates along with YUPS, the Jackson chamber, and Leadership Jxn Alumni. WAPT will exclusively be broadcasting the debates. Part one will be streamed on the web, Part 2 will be live in Prime time. Dates coming soon. But the deal has been done.

Kaze, I saw you on 16 this morning. That’s great news about the debates being on 16 and their website.

We’ve joined up as the print sponsor of the debates, too. Excited to work with Kaze, WAPT, et al.

The response has been great folks. JxnPro loves it when a plan comes together. We’ve got candidates lined up for you all to talk to up close an personal and we’ll reveal them each week. (No we won’t tell you ahead of time lol). So come out and grill mayoral candidate John Horhn this wednesday during our weekely Wednesday lunch. seating is limited as ya know and its gonna be tight. but PLEASE come make your voice heard.

I’m taking Wednesday off, so I’ll try and make the luncheon this week.

Another Wednesday is fast approaching. We had a successful event and great turnout to hear Sen. John Horhn at Peaches last week. This week mayoral candidate ROBERT AMOS will be the featured guest at Wednesday Lunch at Peaches: SOUL FOOD FORUMS..He seems to be a dark horse candidate but regardless you need to hear what ALL the candidates have to say (even if you’ve made a choice) Be there! 11:30-am-1:30pm
