In yesterday’s Republican primary for Mississippi’s 1st Congressional District, state Senator Alan Nunnelee took home 51 percent of the vote, reports UPI. Henry Ross, former mayor of Eupora garnered 33 percent and former FOX News commentator Angela McGlowan took 16 percent.

Nunnelee will run against Rep. Travis Childers in the November election and seven other independent and third-party candidates.

Voting machine issues in Hinds County have delayed announcing a winner in the 2nd District Republican primary, reports WLBT. Election results should be available later today.
