JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson civil rights leader Charles Tisdale is in critical condition and on life support at a local hospital, officials confirmed Monday.
The 80-year-old Tisdale is a radio talk show personality, community activist and the owner and publisher of the Jackson Advocate.
My prayers go out to Tisdale and his family.

I heard about this on WAPT as well. My prayers go out to him and his family, too. About a month or so ago, he did his Friday night show on WMPR. He didn’t sound too well then, but I thought he would pull through it and be back on the air. Let’s hope for miracle.
