Interesting report from Bill Moyers…Dick Armey, the leader of FreedomWorks, (former House Leader and one of that architects of the “Contract With America”) is now raking in the cash from lobbying and exciting the masses against healthcare, including a podium moment at the Teaparty March on Washington.

Interesting, Armey has had a “public option” healthcare plan most of his adult life — just like all member of Congress — one that he’s actually sued the government to keep!

Good stuff. Everyone take a look. Dick Armey is a piece of work. Shoulda known he was behind a lot of this southern-strategy-on-steriods stuff.

The republican’s “Contract on America” lives on unabated. I’m not surprised at all. It seems they won’t stop until America is assassinated or executed. Barry and the no limit soldiers have every intention of stopping them though.

I finally watched the video of events provided here by ITodd. What a hypocritical and repugnant individual Armey is! He gets all he can then tries to stop others from getting anything they need. He is, by and large, the essence of a republican? I don’t know how any decent people could follow him or them? Jesus’ return can’t be soon enough!

Mississippi native Donna Ladd and partner Todd Stauffer founded the Jackson Free Press in 2002 in the capital city. The heavily awarded local newspaper did many investigations heralded across the state and nation and served as a paper of record due to its diversity, inclusion, in-depth reporting and deep connection to readers and dedication to narrative change in and about Mississippi. In 2022, the nonprofit Mississippi Free Press, founded by Ladd and JFP Associate Publisher Kimberly Griffin in 2020, purchased the journalism assets and archives of the Jackson Free Press. A Google grant through AAN Publishers enabled Newspack's integration of the JFP archives into the Mississippi Free Press website to become part of a more searchable archive of recent Mississippi history and essential journalism.
