Here are the multimedia feeds from this morning’s interview by Karen Brown of Mississippi Edition on MPB.

Interviewees are Sandy Middleton and Heather Wagner. These women are amazing, inspiring and know this topic so well. They are major players behind bringing the Duluth Model to Jackson. Very exciting. Perhaps we can *stop* abuse before it destroys families in the future.

Todd, I’m being nitpicky but could you please rephrase that title? I had to work through it a couple of times before it made sense.

Punctuation! Thanks.

Hey kids! We edited the raw video over the weekend for sound quality, time and captioning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wBGAshN_ME&feature=player_embedded Thanks to MPB and JFP for helping to distribute this important info on Mississippi’s domestic violence problem. And big kudos to JFP for stellar work on the ChickBall!

Mississippi native Donna Ladd and partner Todd Stauffer founded the Jackson Free Press in 2002 in the capital city. The heavily awarded local newspaper did many investigations heralded across the state and nation and served as a paper of record due to its diversity, inclusion, in-depth reporting and deep connection to readers and dedication to narrative change in and about Mississippi. In 2022, the nonprofit Mississippi Free Press, founded by Ladd and JFP Associate Publisher Kimberly Griffin in 2020, purchased the journalism assets and archives of the Jackson Free Press. A Google grant through AAN Publishers enabled Newspack's integration of the JFP archives into the Mississippi Free Press website to become part of a more searchable archive of recent Mississippi history and essential journalism.
