Are dogs your thing? Is Fido acting squirrely and out of sorts? If the mail delivery no longer excites him and he lets the UPS driver come and go without a peep, perhaps he needs some doggone companionship. Do an intervention and bring your dog to the Art Garden at the Mississippi Museum of Art on Sunday, May 20, from noon to 5 p.m. Mix and mingle and talk dog shop with others while Dog sniffs and licks and mutters about you. The event is sponsored by CARA (Community Animal Rescue and Adoptions of Mississippi)—if you know of a good home that needs a companion, come and see the shelter dogs available for adoption.

Come to “Dog Day Afternoons” on Sunday, May 20, from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call 601-960-1515 or visit http://www.msmuseumart.org.
