Thank you for supporting the Mississippi Free Press! We’re excited to invite you to our virtual Elections Solution Circle on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Register now for this virtual conversation that we started in last week’s virtual circles about the challenges and solutions to voting access and voter engagement.
These are participant-led circles, and we want to hear from YOU. We promise no speeches or “expert” panels! Our journalists are there to listen and learn.
In our last session, participants discussed potential solutions for:
- Late changes to voting precincts
- Poor communication of precinct changes
- Combatting disinformation and misinformation
- ADA accessibility of polling locations
- Distributing contacts for resources on Election Day
We don’t just invite you to discuss these topics. The circles empower participants to be part of solving election challenges within your community. We will have team members in each of the circles to document potential solutions so we can work together to bring them to reality.
