East Central Bureau Reporter
Jeremiah O. Rhodes is a reporter with the Mississippi Free Press’ East Central Bureau. Before joining MFP in 2026, Jeremiah worked as a democracy researcher at Documented, a watchdog journalism organization, where he investigated the ways money and powerful groups influence politics on the state and national level. His data and investigative work has been featured in the Washington Post, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Searchlight New Mexico and the San Francisco Chronicle. Jeremiah is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of California, Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
