In September, the Center for Social Entrepreneurship unveiled a new cohort of business owners trained via the iVillage Legacy Project in west Jackson.
Brenda Myers took the first steps toward establishing Entrepreneurs Academy 101 in January 2022 by using a program called Teachable to create online entrepreneurship courses and to launch her own website.Â
The Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Jackson seeks to change the landscape of west Jackson into a more prosperous one by eliminating those challenges with a plan to help increase intergenerational wealth for black families.
