Officials evacuated government buildings in Mississippi and several other states following a second day of bomb threats.
U.S. House Rep. Michael Guest, a Mississippi Republican, will introduce a resolution to expel Rep. George Santos from Congress, his office said on Nov. 16.
A Washington, D.C., jury has found Thomas Smith of Mathiston, Miss., guilty of nine felonies, including assaulting officers, and two misdemeanor charges for his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
