Voters in Mississippi Supreme Court District 1 and Mississippi Court of Appeals District 5 voted for a new justice and a new judge respectively in runoff elections on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

In Supreme Court District 1 in Central Mississippi, voters chose between incumbent Justice Jim Kitchens and his challenger, Mississippi Sen. Jenifer Branning.
