Walter Gillis Peacock
Walter Gillis Peacock, Ph.D., is professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning where he has been a faculty member since 2002. He is the former director of the Hazard Reduction and Recovery Center at Texas A&M University and now is a senior fellow with the center. He is internationally known for his research on disaster recovery, community resiliency and social vulnerability.
