Tamra Burns Loeb is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UCLA Center for Culture, Trauma and Mental Health Disparities and has collaborated with a team of experienced behavioral science researchers and clinicians in the UCLA Center for Culture, Trauma, and Mental Health Disparities for over 20 years. Tamra was recently awarded a grant to assess COVID-19 related experiences in Black and Latino HIV-seropositive individuals in Los Angeles, California through the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine COVID-19 Research Award Program.
Dorothy Chin, Ph.D, is an Associate Research Psychologist at the Center for Culture, Trauma, and Mental Health Disparities at the University of California. Her work focuses on communities of color, specifically on trauma, discrimination, health, and mental health and encompasses cultural psychology and cross-cultural research. Dorothy has published articles in numerous academic journals as well as various news outlets, including PRI’s Marketplace and the Los Angeles Times.
