Dr. Taasogle Daryl Rowe is a psychology professor at Pepperdine University. He teaches courses on socio-cultural influences on human behavior, theories and strategies of clinical intervention and provides clinical supervision to both masters and doctoral students. Rowe is also a licensed psychologist and maintains a small private practice, which emphasizes the psychological and communal needs of persons of African descent, with special focus on marital and family relationships. He regularly consults with various local, state and national agencies and organizations regarding cultural diversity issues, working with different clinical populations, alternative approaches to psychotherapy, and other issues that aid the social and interpersonal functioning of persons of African descent. Dr. Kamilah Marie Woodson is an associate professor of Counseling Psychology at Howard University. Woodson is also a licensed clinical psychologist and the associate managing director of the Association of Black Psychologists national office. In these capacities, she has developed an expertise in teaching, research and practice of the psycho-social determinants of health, psychological impacts of trauma, and the psychological correlations of poor health/mental health relative to racism among people of color, with an emphasis on Blacks throughout the Diaspora.
