Anthony Siracusa
Anthony Siracusa is the Director of Community Engagement at the University of Mississippi. He focuses on the intersection between religion, politics and race in modern US History, centering on the development of nonviolence as a political philosophy in the decades before the peak years of the Civil Rights Movement. Anthony’s research also focuses more broadly on interracialism and interracial organizing across the 20th century. He also works at the intersection of the academy and the community through programs designed for faculty, staff, students, and off campus partners to advance research, learning, and community impact.
