Professional macroeconomist Alphecca Muttardy is the chief economic adviser for the National Infrastructure Bank Coalition and is a member of the coalition’s advisory board. She’s responsible for delivering expert macroeconomic assessments of the United States economy, including the development of a major policy initiative to finance unmet infrastructure needs while promoting job creation and economic growth. She was also a former senior economist for the International Monetary Fund. She served as the International Monetary Fund resident representative at the ambassadorial level for Ghana from 2004 to 2006 and provided key policy advice to authorities, including the area of public expenditure management and wage policy that was key to Ghana’s completion of an IMF review and receiving U.S. $3.3 billion in international debt relief.
