The Jackson Police Department just released the following verbatim statement:

The Jackson Police Department has concluded that the incident at the Trustmark Bank Branch located at 4801 Hwy 18 on July 12, 2012, was not a bank robbery. The investigation further revealed that no criminal activity or intent was involved. It has been determined that a customer entered the bank and wrote what has determined to be a transaction request on a deposit slip and gave it to a bank teller.
